Before bookings, please take the time to read our House Rules in order to make your stay with us, a pleasant one. You will be asked to sign the House Rules on your arrival.

 

Our Guest House is situated in a Boomed security township, as well as in an estate inside the Boomed township of Sharon Park. Every time a person go through the boom into Sharon Park, a green button needs to be pushed for the boom to open. The reason for this would be to take a photo of the person or persons in the vehicle as well as the number plate of the vehicle One inside the Township you will turn right into Hertzog Road  and the second road right into Donkin Place. Our entrance is the gate in the corner with the number 5 on the gate. The intercom in the middle is the one for the Guest House. If you arrive after 21h00 please call the Numbers on the sign on the intercom for someone to attend to you and let you in. Once inside, you will be welcomed by one of our staff members and show you where to park. Owners make use of our facilities including Parking at their own risk and La Maison de Ville will take no responability for any incident resulting in any loss of anykind.

 

Check-in between 14h00 - 21h00 on the day of arrival. Check ins after by special arrangement only.

Check-out before 10h00 unless arrangements were made for a late checkout.

 

Paying guests are allowed to use all facilities down stairs including:

All lounges,

Dining areas

Pool and Garden

Land line calls will be charged for at the Hospitality rate of R 2.20 per minute.

 

Standard Rooms:

No Smoking, food or refreshments are allowed in the rooms and if there is a need for it, please feel free to use any of the downstairs dining areas. If a standard room was booked but a luxury room is available, we will upgrade guest or guests at no charge at our own discretion. When the air conditioner is being used, all windows must be closed in order to be effective. No items may be removed from the room such as towels, and electronic equipment for any reason and will be taken seriously and can result in prosecution for theft.

 

Self-Catering Rooms.

No Smoking is allowed inside the unit. These rooms have self-catering facilities to heat or prepare meals for the guests occupying the unit. When the air conditioner is being used, all windows must be closed in order to be effective. No items may be removed from the room such as towels, and electronic equipment for any reason and will be taken seriously and can result in prosecution for theft.

 

Self-Catering upgrade from a standard room.

No smoking is allowed inside the unit. The room will be an upgrade and no cooking will be allowed in the self-catering unit, when upgraded from a standard room, unless arranged with management. When the air conditioner is being used, all windows must be closed in order to be effective. No items may be removed from the room such as towels, and electronic equipment for any reason and will be taken seriously and can result in prosecution for theft.

 

Visitors from outside.

We are a guest house and not a hotel and our rates are calculated on a rate per person and NOT PER ROOM OR UNIT.

No visitors are allowed to spend time or use any of the facilities during your stay.

Visitors are allowed to drop off or collect paying guests.

No guests will be allowed to entertain any visitor in any part of the guest house unless by prior arrangement and on condition that we receive proper Identification of each visitor and a copy of such Identification.

Should a guest want to invite a visitor to spend the night, a rate of R 450.00 per night will apply and a copy of their ID document or proper Identification should be provided and noted. In the case where the visitor need a parking space, this space will be pointed out to your visitor.

No visitor will be left on the property without the Paying guest being on the property.

If a guest invite a visitor to spend the night we will ensure clean linen for the visitor's stay, hence the reason for an additional cost for the visitor.

 

Long stay guests will have their Laundry done once a week at no charge. We are unable to provide a same day service where laundry is concerned. If for any reason guests need laundry done on a same day basis we suggest the Laundromat in the local shopping Centre just outside the Town ship of Sharon Park and they provide a speedy and very reasonable service to our clients.

 

La Maison de Ville have CCTV cameras on the property inside the public places as well as on the side of the main house and all cameras is activated by motion and all movement is recorded on a PVR system for the safety of all our guests.

 

Kitchen area of the Guest House is off limits and no guest or their visitors will be allowed in the front kitchen, the scullery or the Laundry area.

 

In a case where any house rules are not obeyed by, guests or their Companies will be asked to remove a guest from our premises with immediate effect.
